Senior Full Stack Developer

Edyst, a YCombinator (W19) funded company, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with at least 5 years experience in any modern web framework like VueJs/ReactJs/AngularJs, to design, build and deploy the client-side of our web applications.

As a part of our core team, you will be responsible for:

- Taking architecture decisions for the platform 
- Translating UI Mockups to functional webpages 
- Design and development of backend platform APIs and services 
- Create responsive and robust Single Page Applications 
- Find and address performance issues 
- Write and run multiple tests for all features 
- Participate in design and code reviews 
- Identify and communicate front-end best practices

Must have:

- Experience with frontend Javascript frameworks (React/Vue/Angular) and backend frameworks (Express/Flask/Django) 
- 5+ years of frontend and backend software development 
- Experience with Linux systems is a must

Optional (Bonus Skills):

- Working with Real-time APIs (Websockets, Pusher etc) 
- Advanced CSS skills 
- Administering/automating backend infrastructure deployments using Docker, CD pipelines 
- Unix shell scripting 
- Experience with SQL databases 
- AWS/managed cloud services
