Full Stack Developer (Web/Mobile + Middle-Ware + Database)

We are looking for a developer who is dedicated to his craft, writes code that is proud of and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast code to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.

You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

Responsibilities

• Write “clean”, well designed code
• Produce detailed specifications
• Come up with innovative solutions to the hurdles that confront us on a day-to-day basis.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow industry best practices
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Extensive experience with all aspects of the LAMP (Linux, Nginx, MySql, PHP), CSS 3, HTML 5, jQuery, JSON, SQL, XML, PHP and open source development.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and coding in MVC pattern.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc
• Working on new products and services based on cutting edge technologies like search algorithms, mobile delivery, location aware apps etc.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
• Knowledge of mobile application development – iOS, Android (and that's just the beginning) is a plus.
• A serious passion for coding, with the ability to intuitively pick up and use any new language/protocol/framework.
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal and presentation skills.

Experience

We dont care much about work experience as long as you have code experience. We value people who love technology and love working in a fast challenging company which is still small enough for you to make a real impact. 

Good to have

• Experience with open-source tools for logging, monitoring, search engine, caching etc. is a plus
• Knowledge of any of the PHP Framework like (MVC, YII, ZEND, Codeignitor and Solar) would be additional.
• Experience with Cloud-based deployment is a plus
• Experience in implementing SEO techniques is a plus
• Experience with MVC frameworks – Ember.js/Angular.js is a plus
