Job Description

Econote is looking for a savvy Technical Writer who can flawlessly express technical information through their writing and document all the processes for further reference. The goal is to create and maintain technical documents while clearly showcasing the content through other means like graphs, diagrams, charts etc. Applicants with a strong background in detailed technical explanation and documentation are the right fit for this role. Clean explanation of the processes and organising the documents in terms of versions will be the primary role of the Technical writer.

Who are we hiring: Technical Writer

Should have an experience of:  2+ years

Must have a degree in: Bachelor or Master of Mass Communication, arts Specialization in English / BE / B Tech Computer Science / Electronic & Communications / Information Science / Information Technology / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Skills Required

• Excellent English communication skill and technical understanding.
• Creative and problem solving attitude
• Familiar with the tools like Adobe FrameMaker, Text Editor for HTML, WordPress, Microsoft Visio, Latex etc.
• Ability to work with an engineering team (Developer/ QA) to create customer-facing, user-facing technical documentation of various products.
• Skill set to create online help pages for portals of various products, present to and solicit feedback from various engineering, development, and operations teams.
• Ability to work closely with product teams to understand requirements for new products and suggest the best approach for technical communication.
• Willingness to also work with the engineering, marketing, and operations teams or consultants to understand the existing documentation.
• Ability to write compliance with style guide.
• Demonstrable working experience in technical writing of software documentation and Engineering Documentation.
