Ebex is looking for a passionate software engineer to join our CRO and Dev team, which consists of top class data scientists and a group of highly skilled software enthusiasts. This is an incredible opportunity to take up out of the box challenges building extensions and plugins and working directly with international clients. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  •  Deploy and manage application into cloud environments
  • Provisioning of physical and virtual servers, operating systems, network equipment, software including databases and applications.Addition of these IT infrastructure elements to the standard monitoring.backup and inventory systems.   
  • Regularly apply software, application and management tool upgrades/patches to assure performance, stability and security.
  •  Troubleshooting, repair and recovery from hardware, software and service failures 
  • Communication with impacted constituencies and coordination with IT staff during recovery efforts.
  • Daily monitoring of IT infrastructure and response/escalation for events and issues requiring immediate troubleshooting and resolution.
  •   Deploy and configure technologies and corresponding software
  • Review and deploy cloud system releases and vendor-supplied patches according to best practices
  •   Follow change control, incident response, and testing processes for modifications to cloud technologies and software
  • Create power shell scripts to support automation and administrative simplification
  • Implement firewall rules to enforce security as per best practices 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • 6+ years of experience in Linux and Windows Server administration and patch management
  •  Experience with Open Source tools, programs & protocols like Apache, Nginx, CGI, WSGI, SSL/TLS & Certificates, OpenSSL, OpenSSH, SMTP/Sendmail etc.
  • Must be experienced in Amazon Web Services Administration 
  • Strong knowledge in cloud virtualization platforms 
  • Strong knowledge of database management and recovery for MySql, MongoDB. 
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools like SVN, GIT etc.
  • Should be familiar with Windows/Ubuntu/Mac crash recovery.
