We are looking for passionate sysadmins (roll up your sleeves types) who want to work on keeping up the up-time of some of the largest online portals in India.
- The daily routine involves working on automation to achieve scale and designing architectures to avoid SPOF (and automate it). Part of the work also security best practises, reliability engineering etc
- We love those sysadmins who can watch monitoring screens all day (like a movie fan watching the same scenes play out all over again). But unlike the movie fan, they take matter into their own hands and changes the "script" to fix the screenplay.
- We are not hung-up on any platform and we let allow our associates to decide their own platforms and get things done.
- We also appreciate responsibility and quickly form teams around associates showing initiative and persistence in getting it done.
Skill sets desirable :
- Apache//nginx/lighttpd/tomcat/resin/jetty/MySQL/Postfix/Squid/SVN/GIT/ssh/Wordpress /zabbix/PostgreSQL, CentOS, Xen, PXE, Heartbeat-HA, VLANs, haproxy intermediate configuration and scripting skills
Job Description :
- Define and implement high available architecture for no single point of failure deployments
- Build CI/CD pipelines for rolling deployment with zero downtimes
- Develop custom tools and implement automation of repetitive tasks using rundeck or chatops
- Leverage containers to build micro-services which scale
- Support high availability online sites and keep scaling proactively
- Communicate with clients to understand their exact problems, reproduce their issues and get them fixed utilizing skills in your team if needed
- Backup & Disaster Recovery planning
- Working Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP is an asset
