We are looking for an individual with a passion for designing and developing highly polished native applications for Android devices.This position will require the candidate to have experience in mobile software design and development using industry standard programming languages and techniques. Additional responsibilities of this position include participating in or leading design brainstorming sessions, technical design reviews, formal code reviews, bug triage and functional walkthroughs. The candidate must also have experience using web services, JSON, REST and other integration technologies. A working knowledge of IOS  plus.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities:

• Hands-on design and development of native applications for Android.
• Establish and maintain the software development procedures employed by the team. Experience with scrum and agile development methodologies is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Must have extensive Android application development experience. Reference of 2 launched apps would be a plus.
• Must have strong software design and development experience.
• Passion and appreciation for great design and exceptional UI/UX.
• Experience developing Client/Server applications. Experience with database technologies is a plus.
• Experience in Object-Oriented design and Systems Architecture.
• Experience with ios is a plus.
• Experience in tracking production issues and following through to resolution.
• The ability to interact effectively with software developers, product managers, and business users is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with strong attention to detail.

Education/Other Pre-requisites:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject with 3+ years of software development experience.
