Python developer - Backend

WHAT YOU'LL DO: -

Drive best practices and engineering excellence -

Make a significant contribution to build complex web application at scale

- Responsible for the architecture and design choices for the various projects and products

- Define and develop APIs for integration with other components of the product and drive major architecture implementations

- Ability to design and code right solutions starting with broadly defined problems

- Work through a variety of technical challenges that will require creativity and close collaboration across teams - Release early, release often, deploy to production from day one. We love continuous integration.

- Someone who is comfortable with wearing many hats without sacrificing quality

- Comfortable working in product development environment, building version 1.0 from scratch

- Excited about developing innovative software applications on latest technology platforms

- Able to work closely with UI developers to collect requirements and build solutions

- Able to solve problems creatively and effectively - Capable of making right decisions while dealing with uncertainties & inadequate information

- Self-starter, strong sense of ownership, gets things done

- Ability to learn quickly and intellectually curious

- Experience in developing software services, web applications and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability.

- Expert at building based large scale web applications using Python, Node.js, Scala.

- Expert in large scale databases whether relational or NO-SQL, including Postgres, MongoDB. We will be using Redis too.

- A background in engineering or another related field and a strong track record of building interesting projects - Product focused engineer with a solid grasp of core Computer Science fundamentals - Strong understanding of operational aspects of maintaining a high scale data pipeline.

- Any experience with Machine Learning, R, Natural Language Processing is a plus.
