Business Development (Sales)

Calling all outgoing hustlers and passionate players, we’re looking for full-time interns to help us mobilise a revolution. In an endeavor to make fish trading easy and hassle-free, we, at Deepleer, bring together suppliers and buyers of fish and other aquatic species at one place. As we strive to accomplish our mission of making the process of fish buying and selling simple, we have developed this platform that delivers instant value to not just the traders but to other relevant parties too viz. logistics firms, insurance companies, inspection service providers, etc.

Your role:

• This will be a full-time internship (duration between 2-4 months) with DeepLeer Business Development team.
• Your job scope involves pre-sales and sales activities.
• You will be engaging with merchants pitching over the phone and inviting them to join DeepLeer platform.
• Your job scope will mainly involve talking to businesses on the phone, setting appointments and invitations to DeepLeer info sessions.
• Time to time you will get to go on-ground promotion at DeepLeer partner locations, giving demos and training to DeepLeer merchants’ service staff, and promoting DeepLeer to new customers.

• You must be able to communicate in a clear and engaging manner.
• Even better if you are fearless and bold when it comes to engaging with people.
• You must have grit and be very hard working.
• A can-do attitude is absolutely necessary.
• You must also be a self-regulating, independent person who is accountable, passionate, and able to collaborate effectively with others.
• Must have strong communication skills in English.
