Web and UX developer required at Rearden Commerce, Bangalore

Responsiblities:

• Design, develop and maintain key components of Deem applications.
• Build the presentation tier for a suite of web applications consuming multiple web services--not just the UI, but the entire web layer.
• Build XHTML, CSS layouts and integration with the application. 
• Create, update and debug complex JavaScript functionality. 
• Estimate, scope and design new features and projects. 
• Troubleshoot and fix product defects reported by QA and customers. 
• Participate in reviews of requirements, system architecture, and design documents and test plans.

Qualifications:

• Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Programming using Java or any other OO language and of Linux/Unix command line usage.
• Experience with core JavaScript, and not just JS libraries.
• Experience working with HTML/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript/DOM cross-browser development experience with large-scale enterprise web applications or e-commerce sites.
• UI frameworks such as MVC in general, and preferrably experience with some web-development frameworks in particular (one or more of Struts, Rails, Grails, PHP).
• JavaScript libraries such as YUI, Prototype, JQuery, Scriptaculous would be a plus.
