Android developer (all levels) Mumbai

We are an online media startup (currently in stealth mode) redesigning storytelling through intelligent publishing platforms. We are looking for passionate individuals that can help us take the next leap on our existing platform

There are some ambitious but very interesting things we want to offer on this platform, using ensemble learning/AI techniques. The goals are audacious, and needs extraordinary problem solving! At present, we are looking for tech guys to be a part of the core team.

Specifics for the android dev role are -

• Own development for core Android application
• Innovate on the offering from a technology pov.
• Design and build applications for the Android platform
• Develop UI, UX and business logic for Android apps
• Testing and QA for developed apps, bug fixes and improving application performance
• Build and publish Android binaries, release updates
• Communicate with cross functional teams and take ownership of product road map

• 3-7 years of experience with Android development
• Must have apps published in the Google store
• Familiar integrating with web-apis, json data feeds
• Version control using git or equivalent
• Experience with JWT or any similar security implementation
• Familiar with Code obfuscation tool, debugging and app profiling tools will be a plus
• Experience with exo player or media players will be a plus
