Ionic Developer

POSITION OVERVIEW

SPARK Business Works in search of a Hybrid Mobile App/ Front End Developer! As an App Developer, you’ll create and maintain the front end and mobile app interface of projects for our amazing clients. This role will work closely with the Designer, Back end developer, Analyst, and PM to ensure that all intended functionality is achieved.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that are visible from the users’ perspective within a web application. You will combine the art of design with the science of programming. You will be responsible for the translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code. There are times you will be expected to work independently to meet tight deadlines following design guidelines.

You will work in a collaborative team environment with product managers, other developers, systems analysts, and designers throughout the entire project lifecycle to execute and launch applications for clients. You will be a valued contributor on the software development team.

MAJOR TASKS PERFORMED

• Develop new user facing features.
• Write reusable code and libraries.
• Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Validate input before submitting to the back end.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.
• Define how the application looks and how it works.
• Work with little oversight to ensure features are implemented as expected by the client.
