Corridor - Frontend Engineer

Corridor Platforms Inc., with offices in NY Tristate and Bangalore, India is looking to expand its technology team in India. Corridor has developed a fully automated decision management platform that leverages Big Data Technologies, Data Science and latest front-end stack. The platform is built ground up on Python and PySpark stack. The product is already being used by Tier 1 banks and Fintech lenders to manage their end-to-end decision lifecycles. Corridor recently closed its series A funding with strategic partners of Oliver Wyman and EXL Service: 

The product features prospecting, underwriting, loan selection and customer management strategy modules and is fueled by the data and model management layer. The product has strong applicability in the current Covid environment for banks to manage their decision rules in compliance while being highly flexible to changing market dynamics. This risk management platform is primarily targeted for use by large and mid-tier banks in funding loans (helps manage risk and grow revenue). It comes with a browser based Web Analytical Platform built in latest Angular and Python frameworks with high data flow and interactivity.

We are looking for creative and talented individuals to join a highly motivated team of big data engineers and data scientists from top schools to conceptualize, build and deploy risk decision platforms for consumer lending in a Big Data environment.  An ideal candidate must have experience developing UI modules in Angular, client-facing web interfaces and integrating with backend developers. The candidate must also possess superior UX and UI design skills to make the interface more appealing. The individual must be action-oriented and a self-starter, process driven, maintain alignment with the team, abide by the company’s culture and follow industry-wide best practices.

• 1+ years of experience & familiarity in object-oriented programming
• Must have: Experience with Javascript(Vanilla & ES6), Angular, Typescript, HTML, SASS/CSS
• Understanding of API technologies and SQL
• Good to have experience integrating with Django and/or Flask Framework
• Proficient with unit testing framework, test driven development(Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, Protractor)
• Understanding basics of UX/UI design principles
• Experience in SDLC, GitHub commits and Atlassian tools
• Proficiency at optimizing and benchmarking code for performance and memory
