Our goal at Compile is simple: help organizations benefit from the intelligence that’s hidden in big data. Healthgraph, our comprehensive database for US Healthcare, enables life science companies to do just that.

Built using data from billions of medical claims, along with large public datasets (CMS, IRS, Pubmed to name a few), Healthgraph is the most advanced health intelligence platform on the market.

Our data is in use at 16 out of 25 of the world’s largest pharma companies, and has also been adopted by multiple high-growth biotechs.
But we want to do more. And that’s where you come in.

We are looking for a product-focused developer. You should be able to own a product and develop it end-to-end. You will start with the analysis of its usefulness and feasibility, you will architect the components and build them, deploy it to the customer and make sure it runs smoothly thereafter. You will also be handling data analysis and supporting delivery teams.

In short, solving customer problems. We are looking for generalists who are strong in building Web Systems and have good knowledge of Data Engineering. Checking every box isn’t important; strong fundamentals and ability to learn are.

Ideal candidates have:

• A minimum of 2 years of work experience. If you’re a fresher you have worked on a serious problem and can demonstrate it (Internship, github etc.)
• Solid understanding of programming and web fundamentals. Excited about learning the internals of tools and frameworks you use
• High attention to detail and a great degree of empathy toward the user experience
• Eagerness to join a high-performance institution and continually advance their knowledge and skills through self-reflection and feedback

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience working on Python, Django, javascript frameworks, Spark, Dask
• Have experience working with databases such as Postgres, Snowflake
• Have experience with analysing large amounts of data
• Have experience working with healthcare data
