Contract - Quality Assurance Engineer

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for an experienced testing professional who can assume the primary responsibility for validating and verifying the quality of software products to a growing financial start up company. Ideal candidate will be someone with 7+ years of experience in manual, automation and mobile testing who would be an individual contributor.  

Skills Required:

• Well versed in web and mobile app testing
• Experience with blackbox, integration, regression and end-to-end testing
• Strong understanding of testing and automation best practices
• Good knowledge on API testing
• Work closely with project teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
• Individual contributor at a start up firm leading and managing the QA activities related to the product
• Design, implementation and delivery of scalable, maintainable, configurable and robust test automation frameworks
• Making technology choices for QA practice and analysing impact
• Ability to work with a global team
• Continuously evaluate and communicate test status and application issues to project team and other stakeholders

Good To Have:

• Prior experience with financial domain
• SQL concepts for database querying
