Software Engineer Trainee

CodeHall Technologies provides software development services to international clients and startups and builds applications using  open-source technologies. We work on a modern technology stack and deploy applications in the public cloud. CodeHall Tecnhologies is looking for motivated engineers to join its training programme in Bangalore.

The applicants should be familiar with fundamentals of programming in either Python, Java, Javascript, PHP or C/C++. The selected candidates will go through an intensive 3 months training programme on technologies like Python/Django, Javscript/React/Vue, MySQL/Mongo and AWS. On successfully completing the training programme, the candidates will be offered the position of Software Development Engineer in the company. At CodeHall, you get an opportunity to work with founders who are graduates of IITs and NITs who can help mould your technology careers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Building web based applications using Python and Javascript
  • Writing defect-free code with automated tests and good code coverage
  • Deploying, monitoring and mananging applications in the cloud
  • Analysing requirements, proposing database design and implementing application modules
  • Fixing bugs and productions issues within prescribed SLAs

Qualifications:

  • Strong programming fundamentals and analytical skills
  • Ability to pickup new technologies fast
  • Strong urge to create/build something 
  • Good verbal and written communication

Selection Process:

  • Stage I: Online coding test (taken in the comfort of your home)
  • Stage II: Coding test (taken at our office)
  • Stage III: Personal Interview at our office 

For most of the candidates, stage II and stage III will be completed on the same day.
