Rust Hacker / CodeCrafters.io (open to non-Rust)

We make deep-dive programming experiences, like Build your own Git, SQLite, Docker, etc.

High calibre engineers love it (folks at Stripe, Cloudflare, Apple). Some are spending entire weekends doing our challenges. They do our challenges to become masterful at programming, understand their tools clearer, and at times to prep for interviews.

We're looking for talented engineers who "get it", and want to make CodeCrafters better.

Immediate responsibilities:

• Owning our building and testing infra
• Improving our CLI experience
• Helping with Rust-specific curiculum

Long term responsibilities:

Depending on mutual interests and skill, you could own any aspect of CodeCrafters engineering — the web experience, designing challenges & authoring experience, plagiarism detection, etc.

Ideal candidate:

You can show us the following:

• That you've been working with Rust 6mo+ 
• If you don't do Rust, signficant exp. with another language
• That you like teaching / explaining / diving-deep
• Bonus: you're a programming language fanatic

Not a fit:

We're super early in our journey — at this stage, this role is not a fit if:

• You wouldn't do a CodeCrafters challenge yourself.
• You want a 9-5. You have to really enjoy this job.
• You need a rigorous structure in-place. We love those, but it's too early.
