Sr. Front-end Engineer for a YC backed data OSS

Chaos Genius’ founding team hails from Harvard, CMU & IIT. The team has previously built analytics systems that delivered millions of dollars in impact for Fortune 500. You will be working closely with a well-known ML expert whose work has been endorsed by Google & Microsoft leaders. 

Responsibilities 

• Converting fuzzy requirements into manageable modules with high-level designs
• Work closely with design & backend teams to bring the product into fruition
• Breaking down modules and implementing them with a TDD & OSS mindset

Requirements

• 5+ years of prolific coding experience building responsive React applications
• Highly proficient in Javascript & dialects, HTML & CSS
• Familiarity with RESTful & RPC-based APIs and CI/CD principles
• Worked in front-end teams that delivered projects used by millions of users
• Deep experience with visualization frameworks like D3.js, Toast UI, Chart.js

Good to have

• Past experience with delivering UX for analytics applications used by Fortune 500
• Experience committing to open-source front-end projects like D3.js
• Past experience in building foundational JS libraries from the ground up
