Senior Fullstack developer

Cartisan is a start-up building mobile & cloud based products for automotive & EV companies to better engage with their customers and enhance overall experience of owning / using a car.

For building automotive solutions supporting mobile and in-car apps with SAAS, analytics capabilities and cloud platforms such as AWS, we are hiring an experienced Software Engineer at our Bangalore office preferably with MEAN stack experience.

Responsibilities
• Lead architecting, development, integration and testing effort for our software products by taking ownership and delivering product features from concept to implementation
• Be the key contributor to product design / technical architecture
• Develop technical software components as per product specifications in a fast-paced environment - working directly with the product owner, software engineers in the team and with end-users
• Plan, provision, and manage cloud environments, code repositories, and build production environments using AWS or equivalent cloud services
• Bring in high levels of work ethic and ownership on work responsibilities, dedication, and lead-from-the-front attitude to develop world-class customer and enterprise products

Requirements
• Interest in the automotive domain
• 4+ years building production software applications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals with good understanding of service oriented architecture, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, scalability, and availability
• Experience in developing server side Node.js frameworks and applications
• Fluent in Javascript programming, developing web services involving REST APIs, JSON
• Good experience using leading databases such as MongoDB / Redis / other NoSQL options
• Worked primarily on Linux platforms for development and deployment, managed production software environments
• Experience developing front-end clients for e-commerce or enterprise web products using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS or other MVC frameworks - preferred
• Experience building and deploying SAAS applications on AWS - preferred
• Exposure to Mobile Apps development – preferred
• Knowledge of Python, Java or Scalaand Machine Learning – preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ok to work with cross-location teams
