Python Django Developer

Summary: 

Capital Float is looking for 6 months tech interns who are dedicated to his/her craft, enthusiastic about writing code, proud of their work, and can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, high standard code in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways. 

You will be a part of the Decision Science team and will be working on Decision Engine, a real-time decision-making engine for the loan applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Write “clean”, well designed modular code.

Come up with innovative solutions to the hurdles that confront us on a day-to-day basis

Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

Follow industry best practices

Need to have: 

Extensive experience with all aspects of the Python (both 2.x and 3.x), Django, MySql, PostgreSQL, Version Control, Linux, Shell Scripting

A serious passion for coding, with the ability to intuitively pick up and use any new language/protocol/framework

Ability to clearly communicate rationale and conceptual ideas

Good to have: 

Experience in Amazon Web Services or any other cloud platform

Experience in integration of third-party APIs (e.g Google, Facebook)

Experience with front-end programming (CSS, HTML, Bootstrap, Angular/React JS)
