Frontend Developers - JavaScript/Angular

Brain Above is an upcoming technology solutions company with focus on ICT, e-Governance and Integrated Smart City Solutions. The founding team has over 30 years combined experience building and providing solutions catering to government organisations directly and indirectly. At Brain Above you will be working on solving real-life problems faced by the high paced urban sector of India

A successful candidate will have an established background with 5+ years overall frontend development experience and 2+ experience in developing web applications using Angular 2/4/5. You will be responsible to maintain and add new features to our products

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full software development life cycle
- Own the delivery of an entire piece of a system or application, and lead on small to midsize complex projects
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Great understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Comfortable working in product development environment, building version 1.0 from scratch
- Excited about developing innovative software applications on latest technology platforms
- Able to work closely with UI developers to collect requirements and build solutions
- Able to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Experience with web business applications (and not website)
- Capable of making right decisions while dealing with uncertainties & inadequate information
- Self-starter, strong sense of ownership, gets things done
- Passion for technology, commitment to build products that dazzle and have fun doing it
- Ability to learn quickly and intellectually curious
- Effective communication with stakeholders (product owner and anyone else involved)

Requirements:
- Expertise of JavaScript/TypeScript, ES6/ES2016/ES2017 and Angular 2/4/5
- Experience with HTML5/CSS3
- Experience using Promises
- Experience with JSON based RESTful API integrations
- Experience with using utilities like Lodash, Async etc.,
- Good Knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Working knowledge of Node.js
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Experience with build scripts and tools like Bower, Grunt, and Gulp
- Experience building data-driven web applications
- Understanding of HTTP protocol including WebSockets
- Proficient understanding of Git and related services like GitHub, Gitlab, etc.
- Energetic and motivated self-starter
- Ability to learn quickly and intellectually curious
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong focus and drive to solve problems

Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- Worked on building products throughout specially related to Location, Real Time and IoT applications
- Contributions to open source projects
