Visual Designer with HTML skills

Blue Caffeine is a cutting-edge, data-driven, digital marketing agency that focuses on helping global customers with establishing a digital presence, effectively targeting & acquiring customers uacross various digital channels and improving digital marketing ROI through extensive analytics, technology and automation. We are based in New York, USA and Chennai, India. 

We are looking for an experienced Visual Designer to join our fast-growing team in Chennai and work on exciting engagements for our clients, while supporting all of Blue Caffeine's internal design needs as well.

The ideal candidate should have 2-6 years relevant industry experience preferably in an agency environment, with exposure to branding, web design and print design.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Establish the look and feel for various interfaces, including websites, mobile devices, apps, Powerpoint & print design

- Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand's style

- Design user-centered interaction models, wireframes or screen mockups

- Design logos, icons and infographics

- Source images (stock photos) and enhance them based on mood boards and brand style guides

- Be able to juggle multiple projects and manage timelines and deliverables effectively

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Sophisticated design, layout, and typographic skills

- Should be extremely well-versed with design principles and associated design tools and technologies

- Expert knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suite specifically Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.

- Skills in motion, illustration, and concept creation/visualization strongly desired

- Knowledge of HTML is mandatory

- Highly client-focused and up-to-date knowledge of market trends to interpret and execute the client needs

- Extensive Portfolio spanning branding, identity, illustrations and artwork design (digital or print)

- Attention to detail is a must

- Excellent sense of color, scale, harmony, balance, and use of negative space

- Good communication skills and tech savvy

- Bachelors or Masters in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Visual Communications, User Interface Design, Video Game - Design or an equivalent design degree
