BigBinary is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team on full-time or part-time basis.
The candidate should be able to automate and manage infrastructures of various sizes in Amazon AWS and other cloud providers.
About BigBinary
- We work remotely. All the time.

- We are primarily a Ruby on Rails consulting company.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Linux and Chef expertise.
- Strong background in computer networking and security.
- Experience in Ruby on Rails application deployment.
- Experience in configuring various servers like VPN, HAProxy and AWS services like VPC, RDS, IAM, etc.
- Experience in configuring monitoring tools for applications and servers.
About the Hiring Process
We hire people by first working with them for 30 hours.
You can work 3 hours per day at night after work for two weeks (10 days) to see what it is like to work with us. We will also get to know you and your work style. After 30 hours, we will make an offer to you.
If for any reason you are not hired then you would be paid for all the hours you have worked.
