Android developer needed to marry analytics with wellness @bemo

• You will build Android mobile products that define the future of healthcare.
• You will write efficient, reusable and maintainable code.
• You will deliver high performing and scalable mobile solutions to problems in healthcare.
• You will work closely with designers to execute the emerging designs and ensure that the feasibility and usability of the product are enhanced further.
• You will be compelled to ask questions that expose flaws and gaps, while keeping an eye on the broader context to ensure cohesion with design.

Skills and Requirements

• Experienced or fresh out of college, you have developed real android applications.
• Startup friendly i.e self starter, quick learner, hard working and passionate.
• Strong computer science fundamentals – databases, object oriented programming.
• Passionate towards coding, mobile and of course Android.
• Strong coding skills on Java, good knowledge on Web Services, Restful API and JSON.
• Good command over J2ME and Android SDK.
• Whammy bonus points for firebase experience with authentication, functions and chat
• Strong debugging & troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with third party libraries and APIs.
• Bonus points if you have built self initiated, open source mobile applications.
• Bonus points if you have good understanding of user experience and design.
• You can creatively solve problems at all levels of detail: from the big picture to the nuts and bolts.

Bemo is an intelligent, analytics-driven online therapy app to help people be more at life. We started research and the initial solution was selected at design labs, ISB, Hyderabad. But we decided to launch MVP in Chile. 

Bemo was part of Sfactory Gen 3 at Start-Up Chile and selected for SEED Gen 17 too. Based on the feedback received then, we are launching the android app in 4 weeks in India. This product has been selected for 10000 startups and is in final round at NUMA.
