Data Scientist / Engineer role for Fashion E-Commerce business

AZA Fashions is one of India's leading High Fashion & Designer wear Retailer and E-Commerce website, showcasing more than 200 of the country's most highly acclaimed and celebrated designers.  

We are looking for a Data Scientist / Engineer for our E-Commerce division.

Job Role

Build centralized data platform in AWS EC2

  • Design and implement Dimensional and Fact tables
  • Identify and implement data transformation/cleansing requirement

Determine testing needed to assure the functionality and integrity of the ETL solutions, create test plans, and evaluate testing results taking corrective action as necessary

Write SQL code - Queries/Stored Procedures/Functions

 

Required Skills:

2+ years hands-on experience in data warehouse projects in AWS/ other cloud technologies

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience from IITs or NITs.

Experience with

  • Big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
  • AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
  • Stream-processing systems: Spark-Streaming.

Hands-on and deep experience with Warehouse schema design.

Understand project-specific requirements, standards, guidelines, and processes.

Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment.

Good written / oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
