Our first solution, AutoWiz, is a telematics solution for personal and commercial car owners and businesses. AutoWiz combines various elements of IoT and Analytics technology to offer a seamless and easy to use connected car solution.

We are based in Bangalore, India and putting together a stellar team for our future plans. 

Key responsibilities: - As a Senior Platform Engineer you will be working on high performance telematics platform-

  • You will be part of an highly skilled cross functional team that is optimising existing systems as well as designing and developing new features. 
  • You will create new analytics/topologies to run in streaming framework 
  • You will assess the performance and other impacts of distributed processing and implement solutions

Skills & Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university with high marks
  • 4+ years experience as Java developer, esp. for scalable and realtime computing systems

Must Have skills

  • Design patterns in Java, Core Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, Spring, Hibernate, Restful services 
  • Experience with RDBMS ( Preferably MySQL)
  • Experiend with NoSQL databases (preferably document DB)
  • Good knowledge of build tools like Git and Maven
  • Good knowledge of Application Servers like Tomcat and Jetty
  • Good knowledge of Restful services and JDBC
  • Good knowledge of XML Parsers, XML Schema & JAXB
  • Experience in implementing JMS messaging services.
  • Good verbal and written communication. Excellent team player, ability to follow through on deadlines. 

Desirable Skills

  • Exposure to event stream processing using tools like Kafka
  • Exposure to distributed realtime computing frameworks like Apache Storm, Spark Streaming or Samza
