Web Front End Engineer for Connected Car Company

SenSight Technologies Private Limited is a startup working on innovative and valuable solutions in the intersection of Internet of Things (IoT) and Data Analytics domain.

Our first solution, AutoWiz, is a telematics solution for personal and commercial car owners and businesses. AutoWiz combines various elements of IoT and Analytics technology to offer a seamless and easy to use connected car solution.

We are based in Bangalore, India and putting together a stellar team for our future plans.

SenSight Technologies is looking for a web development ninja for their web application development. We are looking for someone who has developed consumer facing websites and applications and understands key drivers for user acquisition, engagement and retention

Responsibilities

• Build advanced web applications based on user interface design concepts
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and quality

Key skills

• You are an expert in HTML5, CSS3/LESS/SASS, JavaScript
• Knowledge and experience in working with development frameworks such as AngularJS or similar
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• You have experience developing mobile first, responsive websites
• You have experience in translating UI designs into reality and actively push the boundaries on the UI design possibilities
• Deep and cutting edge knowledge of the general web landscape, architectures, trends and emerging standards
• You have well-honed approaches to increase page load speed, manage cross browser compatibility issues and usability of the site across devices
• Good understanding and experience in implementing SEO principles and best practices
• Experience in integrating web analytics and other third party applications for tracking user behavior on site will be a plus
• Knowledge of build tools such as Grunt/Gulp and version control tools such as Git
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Educational qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Master’s in Computer Science/Information sciences. Such as B.E., or M.C.A.

• 2-4 Years of relevant experience
