Looking for a Mobile App Developer with 2+ years of relavant experience for Xceler.

About Xceler :

The big issue of “un-employable graduates” is well-known, students are graduating with skills that aren’t relevant which makes them unemployable. Students and employees do not have a forum for meaningful interaction to address these systemic issues.

We, at Xceler, have created a collaborative learning community, Xcelerator, which brings together all stake holders to create an experiential and contextual learning platform. We do this by offering industry-relevant projects and learning, and a platform for students to engage with industry experts. The purpose of these project-based engagements are to ensure that the learnings are relevant to the nature of work that goes on in the industry and to help students get closer to the real needs of the industry.

Job Description - Mobile App Developer.

Required Technical Knowledge & Experience:

* 2+ years of C#/.Net programming experience with at least 1 year experience in Xamarin Studio with an emphasis on Xamarin Forms (Xamarin Android, Xamarin iOS experience is desirable, but not mandatory)

* Working knowledge / experience of XAML is a must.

* Knowledge of MVVM pattern is desirable, but not mandatory

* Experience of creating custom renderers for Xamarin Forms on both Android and iOS.

* Understanding of Apple/Google project setup and deployment (i.e. how to create, provisions and manage accounts)

* Understanding of REST services/Web API and JSON* Understanding of push notifications

 * .Net / C# development knowledge basics

* Working experience of Git is a must.

* Experience writing rich GUI's for Android and iOS

* Previous experience integrating mobile applications to server side API's.

* Exposure on up-to-date SDK versions.

* Must have worked on and preferably published at least 1-2 mobile applications.

* Candidates with prior experience in developing WPF applications who are willing to take up Xamarin are also welcome to apply.
