  • Solid experience in developing RoR web applications.
  • Responsible for managing the server­side RESTful API for our website The primary focus will be development of all server- side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database in MySQL, andensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front­end.
  • Responsible for integrating the front­end elements into the web application. Therefore, a understanding of front­end technologies like HTML5, CSS3 etc is essential
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code with strong testing standards
  • Experience with RESTful API dev on Rails, along with other common libraries
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Familiarity with concepts of MVC, ORM, and RESTful
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like GIT and deployment strategy with AWS
  • Passionate about working for an early stage startup and scaling the application.
  • Design and create efficient RESTful endpoints for both internal and public consumption
