Full-Stack Dev for building the world's first distributed finance platform

Arboreum , Anywhere · arboreum.dev · Freelance or consulting · Programming

At Arboreum, we’re looking to change the way that people access credit. With the rise of mobile money and ever-increasing connectivity, it isn’t fair that creditworthy potential borrowers are either denied credit or must pay extremely high interest rates simlply due to insufficient credit history or opportunistic financial institutions.

We’re a small group of mathematicians, data scientists and consultants who have developed a framework that allows individual AI agents to create swarm intelligences that can solve various distribution and optimisation problems. As a first use case, we’re looking to disrupt the personal credit market.

Specifically, a participant who wishes to take out a loan can raise the principal via their social networks based on a notion of trust expressed via open credit lines. Each lender can then in turn novate their own debt by selling parts on to their own social networks with increased collateral - derisking loans as they propagate further from the initial borrower, and reducing the exposure of any one participant in the event of default. For more details, you can read through our - currently in draft! - whitepaper, available here.
