Appivo has offices in Mumbai, California, and is headquartered in Sweden. This Solutions Developer position is with our growing Mumbai team. We know how bad Mumbai traffic can be so working from home occasionally is an option. We work hard but we also have a pretty relaxed and flexible work environment.

We do this by providing a platform that simplifies the development of IT solutions - be it web, mobile or IoT solutions. Many different types of solutions have already been built on top of the Appivo platform, ranging from construction and healthcare to industrial automation. 

Job Description and Responsibilities

This position is at Appivo Applications AB, the services wing of Appivo. The mission for Appivo Applications is to push the Appivo platform forward by building custom applications for real customers. We work in small teams; two to three people per project work closely together with our customers in Europe, USA and Australia.

As a Solutions Developer you will participate in all aspects of a custom development project: pricing, planning, development, delivery and maintenance. You will have direct contact with international clients and have critical ownership of their projects. Senior team members will provide guidance and will help you get up to speed quickly.

Some travel is possible, including occasional trips to our corporate headquarters in Sweden both for work and for fun team-building purposes.

Qualifications and Skills

To be eligible for this position you should have 0-2+ years of experience, including work with modern web technologies and a burning passion for everything you do. If you have more than 2 years of relevant experience that's ok, too! We have other positions available.

Your technical profile should include as many of these as possible:

• Web development with a solid understanding of html & css, and building responsive Web and mobile interfaces
• Experience using modern and/or legacy javascript frameworks
• Good understanding of mobile paradigms & concepts
• Solid understanding of programing concepts
• Basic understanding of database design and SQL
• Experience with Git, JIRA, & Confluence is a plus
• Another plus if you know a thing or two about UX

You should be ambitious, have a knack for seeing what is important and what isn’t, and know how to manage your time. You should enjoy being challenged and wish to find a position at a company where you can boost your career for several years or more.
