Appivo is hiring, again! We’ve had great luck so far and can’t wait to add another member to the team. This time we’re looking for a DevOps / configuration management / infrastructure automation engineer to join our Mumbai team.

Job Description:

• Rule our infrastructure with an iron fist!
• Launch all-out war on down-time!
• Consider manual processes a personal insult!
• Create and implement processes & tools that manage our infrastructure.
• Collaborate with colleagues to understand requirements and develop creative solutions.

Desired candidate profile:

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• Must have solid experience with:
  • Linux
  • Shell scripting
  • Networking
  • Git & Gitlab-CI
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Kubeadm/GKE
  • Terraform
  • MariaDB or MySql
• Big plus if you also know:
  • Google Cloud Platform
  • Prometheus
  • Grafana
  • ElasticSearch + Logstash + Kibana
  • Redis
  • RabbitMQ
  • Maven
  • Ant
• It would be nice if you know something about:
  • Nginx
  • HAproxy
  • Sysdig Falco
  • Flannel, Calico
  • Java
• A few other requirements:
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and architectures.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps processes and automation.
  • Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
  • Fun loving and enthusiastic.
