Front End Web Developer

Job Description

One of our client- a Financial Tech company looking for a Front-End Web Developer/Designer who is motivated to combine design with the art of programming. Bridge the gap between graphic design, technical implementation, and taking an active role on both sides to keep various websites updated and create new ones.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the company CEO on internal and external projects
• Independently code with minimal supervision
• Follow the company brand identity when coding various web applications
• Create/Develop/Update campaign landing pages and websites that merge and work simultaneously with our CRM
• Maintain all websites with current plug-ins/ updates
• Deployment of new website or changes to existing site on cloud hosting solution.
• Collaborate with Marketing team for site improvements and lead generation goal achievements
• Design/code email campaigns
• Perform creative work under timeframes, working independently and collaboratively to successfully complete in time
• Manage/prioritize concurrent and competing projects
• Develop new user-facing features
• Translation of wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Deliver finished resources to incorporate into the app

Skills And Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Web Design, Front End Development and/or User Experience.
• Minimum 1 year mobile design experience
• Bachelor's degree or some college preferred
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Must have knowledge of Visual Design, experience with project and development processes, designing/coding for web & mobile (tablets, phones, etc.).
• Experience with developing and optimizing for mobile web browsers as well as experience with asp.net, php, client-side vs server-side, content management systems, SharePoint, difference between print and web media, color psychology, typography, latest trends and technology, user habits and psychology.
• Must have high level of competency in a variety of languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Mobile-First Responsive Design. Able to write clean and reusable code that is well documented and easy to read.
• Must have experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Acrobat), hardcoding organized HTML5 & CSS3, Responsive Design, Browser Compatibility, Troubleshooting/Bug Fixing, Axure, creating Style Guides and Wireframes, Kendo UI toolsets and industry standards, Twitter Bootstrap framework, customized template coding.
• Problem solve efficiently with user experience in mind, provide direction while keeping to the company and industry standards
• Ability to adeptly manage multiple projects, manage contractors and external resources as well as internal and general resources
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• Must know how to slice and code from comps
• Experience with building e-commerce and content websites
• Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and take criticisms constructively
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Have proficient knowledge of JavaScript.
• Have proficient knowledge of Wordpress.
• Have proficient knowledge of React/Redux/Saga and node.js.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Competent knowledge of MS Office Products- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Windows 7 OS.
• Expertise in multiple browser development, web usability, and interface design
• Extensive knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Javascript, MVC, HTML and CSS, Ajax, jQuery (any other web 2.0 programming is a plus)
• Knowledge of CRM Systems
• Minor server experience in either Windows or Linux OS is necessary to manage cPanel and Plesk
• Basic knowledge and understanding of web layouts, usability issues between browsers, and designing interactive user interfaces
• Prefer certification in Web Design and/or Frontend Development with emphasis in User Experience.
• Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills as well as above average interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
