Angular - JavaScript Developer

At 'akademe' – we are building an integrated ‘manage - market - monetise’ platform. We are in the final phase of our MVP release and this is a pretty exciting time to join the team. As part of our ambitious plans for growth, we are in search of Frontend / Integration Developers who are comfortable working in a full-stack capacity having used a modern framework such as Angular.js or ReactJS. In terms of approach and delivery, the candidate should be well versed working to an Agile approach, ensuring all production code is fully Unit tested with full adherence to TDD methods.

Here are the things we are looking for:

• Proficient in web fundamentals - HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Experience in CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS
• Proficient in AngularJS and JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower
• Experience in developing web applications using Angular
• Proficient in front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap
• Proficient with Git
• Exposure to MongoDB and ElasticSearch databases
• Significant experience in full stack web development including a deep understanding of how to build and support performant web applications
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue.js, etc.)
• Experience with cloud deployment patterns and infrastructure (DigitalOcean / AWS / Azure or similar)
• Comfortable with the unix/linux environment and tooling such as npm / yarn
