Django Developer

Requirements:

  • Strong Object Oriented Design skills and experience developing high-performance systems and web sites (caching, performance, multi-processing, etc).
  • Proven experience developing in Python and Django.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS database design and querying.  Worked with at least one of the following: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Familiar with tools like NoSQL (mongoDB), Amazon Web Services, Gunicorn, SOLR, JQuery.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and technical decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with data mining/web scraping technologies (Scrapy, Nokogiri/Mechanize or other)
  • Experience with Celery, RabbitMQ and large scale data processing.
  • Experience with Ansible and Docker.
