Required QA Engineer with exp in Automation testing using Selenium

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participation in the execution of Software Test Plans and creation of Test Cases, Bug/Problem Reports , Test Reports, Test Data, Test metrics etc.

2. Execution of system testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, database testing etc.

3. Document test discrepancies

4. Prepare automation scripts for all complicated modules and execute the same.

5. Maintenance of automation scripts.

Work Experience:

1. 2+ years only if sufficient experience in automation scripting & testing

Qualifications:

1. Successful applicants must have prior Quality Assurance software testing experience in a related environment on a variety of technology platforms, web-based applications and client server applications.

2. Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Skills required:

1. 1+ Years of Experience in Selenium Remote Control ( Selenium RC)

2. Very good experience in any of the scripting language PERL/PHP/ Python/ Ruby/.NET

3. Understand the requirements and the functionality of the software system and design test cases.

4. Knowledge on Software development life cycle (SDLC);

5. Written and verbal interaction with other team members / customers

6. Assure the appropriate level of quality by the resolution of important defects by working with developers to ensure the quality of product.

7. Problem Solving and Decision Making skills

8. Must be able to prioritize, schedule and complete the work with in schedule.

9. Ability to work on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux and Mac)

10. Should have experience in JMeter.

11. 2+ years of experience in writing SQL queries

12. Stay aware of all the latest web and browser developments, and keep the testing framework up-to-date.

13. Participating in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, and security testing

Good To Have

1. Basic knowledge in JUnit

2. Basic knowledge in Unix(Ubuntu), shell scripts

3. Basic knowledge in Java

4. Experience in Agile methodology
